First time ordering from Papa John's pizza as I usually order from Pizza Hut. Was able to watch the timeline and I'm not sure how accurate it was, but the pizza appeared to be cooked in 18 minutes, then was being sliced for 21 minutes!!! It then took about 20 minutes to arrive from a mile away. Needless to say by the time it got here ( over an hour after ordering) it was stone cold! Probably the best Papa J's franchise on either side of the Atlantic. The actual Pizzas are high quality and the staff, especially management, can't do enough for you despite running such a tight ship.
At 6pm I booked a pizza delivery for 7pm. At 7h41 pm the pizza is still being "cut". I called the shop (East Dulwich) and they won't answer the phone. Makes me wonder whether it would have taken over an hour and a half to get a pizza delivery had I not booked it, but put asap delivery at 6pm... Awful service and clearly they are not capable of working out logistics even when we give them the advantage of knowing well in advance when you would like the food delivered.
