A lovely cozy neighborhood cafe with view on Peckham Rye Park. Food is great, but the friendliness of staff is what keeps me coming back! Shannon is a shining light at this establishment, welcoming, cheerful and bright, having a chat with her always brightens my day alongside a nice cup of coffee. I also appreciate Mason who always makes me laugh and has great stories to tell- coming here regularly, chatting with staff, seeing many cute dogs, eating good brunch is always a treat.

I really love cafe G. and it is the best shakshuka which I ate but unfortunately since there are some new service people I have always problem when I want to pay by cash, if you ask for something especially one guy is making always faces because you are bothering him. But still I will give you my recommendation for this place because the food is very delicious.

We visited here on the end of August bank holiday and it was a very good brunch.I enjoyed the Shakshoumi - it was huge in quantity, but maybe lacked that extra bit of taste. That said, I would still recommend it. My partner had the pancakes (without banana) and likewise enjoyed it. Service a bit hit and miss but overall a nice enough place and would go back.
