The matzah meal fish is now a no go here they over cook it every time (they never used to) they argue about: as customer is seemingly wrong and they are right/ chips are hit or miss and now cooked in same oil as meat fyi. GONE SO
After our train journey, we found ourselves craving a meal and spotted Chippers as we left Cockfosters Station. The warm welcome upon entering set the tone for a delightful experience. We were promptly seated, and our orders were taken. For starters, we enjoyed Taramasalata and Whitebait, both of which were delicious. Without the threat of a doubt one of the best Fish and Chips shops in London. Fresh fish and chips. Unlike many the oil don’t stink. Give it a try if you are nearby but if you are a local give them a try.
