Very tired and rundown now. The main reason we used to like to stay here was the cocktail bar and tropical swimming pool. These are no longer open. For the money you may as well stay next door at the marriott.Even the staff are no longer as helpful as on previous stays here. The rooms are dated, air con was broken, room service wasn't brilliant although the chicken wings were good.I would not stay here again unless they reopen the pool and bar.

Visited for meetings the other week, found the location easily, sadly not enough parking.Beautiful hotel, from what I saw, didn't sty the night so couldn't comment on the roomsStaff where helpful in providing information, but sadly seemed distracted and not attentive/present.

Sent a surprise gift to my friend and initially they wouldn’t accept it stating “policy” around receiving food. After calling, the pedantic person at reception reluctantly accepted the gift to be put in the luggage room, which comes with a £5 collection fee. Having stayed at plenty of hotels around the world, including Marriott, I expect far better service, not to be met with this type of inflexibility, nor should there be ancillary charges to collect luggage.

Its an OK airport hotel, rooms are big and on-site sports bar and restaurant were good. Unfortunately on this stay it was the mobile Bonvoy that gave me a bad experience. On the train from London I wanted to know if there was a shuttle bus from T2&3, I chatted directly with the hotel through the app and was told that there is, but it only runs once an hour. I enquired about the timetable and was told I would need to speak to the airport staff. Given this hotel is clearly an airport hotel, and its existence surely relies on its proximity to Heathrow, I found it unacceptable they did not know what time the shuttle bus ran to the hotel, especially when it was only once an hour. Telling me to call the airport wasn't any help when I was on a train needing to make a decision on how to get there. I also didn't receive my bill by email as requested when I checked out online through the Bonvoy app, nor has it been uploaded weeks later, but sadly thats a recurring problem I experience in the app in many Marriott hotels and experiences like this are just going to limit my usage of it

This place is living on past glory. The location is great as it is close to the airport but other than that, the room was dated, heating was not working so they had to provide a small portable heater. The food was great but the staff there (I'm choosing my words carefully to avoid calling this racial profiling) told me and my partner a total of four times while eating that we had to pay for the meal- despite telling them on entry into the hall that we were aware of this.In all, it's good enough if you accept that it's a bit dated, great location and food.

The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. We have to thank Jasmita for the attention at breakfast. One of the girls at the reception was very kind and prepared a gift for our daughter, as it was her birthday.Large and clean room but furniture a bit old. No sockets near the bed.Lack of lighting in the rooms. The mini bar was empty. We were surprised as it is a 4 stars hotel.

Easy to find, good service, clean and tidy. Love the aromas in the hotel. Food was good( hot) deserts could be little more creative for the upper market brand. Old traditional red velvet won’t surprise us any more..Food & drinks: Tasty but old fashioned

Have stayed here overnight several times pre flight and always been satisfied. Yes it is a bit old but the room is always clean and staff very polite. We had hired a car which we parked there for £15 then returned car to enterprise in morning and had free shuttle with them to T5. This was cheaper than returning car back then getting cab to hotel and cab to airport. Buses not reliable and not super often. Be careful with parking fines though. Recommended that you get a printed bill of your stay with parking fee visible. In September When I got back home I received an email from car hire stating there was a parking fine via Parking eye that controI Sheritons car park. I was charged £35 by enterprise for administrationfee to pass info to parking eye. . Took a bit of ringing and mailing to hotel and they managed to cancel it and even payed my admin fee. Still got the notification of fine in post but could check on their website that it was zero. In all perfect stay but just 4 stars for service because of the need to ring and mail several times before a response was actually carried out. Would stay here again.

I was a little scared staying here after reading some of the reviews but we actually had a great time. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was friendly and respectful, and the sports bar had great food. They also have room service 24 hrs. Was a little disappointed that the garden was closed the whole time we were there. Also, the pipes were noisy so we did get woken up a couple times by it.

Convenient for Heathrow with on site parking. However the rooms are very tired, in need of updating. There were no free power points in the room, and two of the lights came off the same plug! I think this is illegal..... Filthy cabling to the lights.Surprisingly good food in the American bar. But this was the only thing really that impressed.

The wheelchair shower is not wheelchair friendly. It's too small and the shower sear was far too small. The shower cubicle really is only suitable if you have use of your legs. The shower door was missing so we had to put towels down to stop the water from flooding the

I travel to LHR on business and this hotel never fails to meet my needs. I usually order room service, but it’s always a pleasure to go downstairs and meet Jasmita who will always greet you with a smile and look after you. Thank you! Place is old and could do with a makeover, but the service is great, reception offers you 24/7 guidance. The location is good as well weather you’re looking in staying in the airport area or not as there is a 5 minutes walk to the bus lane - which has a route to the airport that is aprox 5 pounds both ways.

Great rooms and helpful staff. Amazing food and the conference room had no faults. Lovely inner garden with glass ceiling and a pool where we had a cocktail party.
