I visited this pub as part of a large birthday party group and we spent a lot of money. The 3 team bar staff were struggling to keep up with the amount of customers, causing long waiting times at the bar. At one point the bill was £39 and I wanted to pay £20 cash and the rest on card. I was told by Michelle, the landlady, : " could I be a bit more considerate in future, because they are busy ".!!!!!... Watched Ska band ' Shame and Scandal'. Fantastic evening with a great atmosphere. The food coming out looked and smelled delicious. A good time was had by all. The place was packed and the staff were overwhelmed for brief moments which made the wait to get served a little too long. But they carried on with smiles and I think everyone appreciated their efforts. All in all highly recommended.
