We were welcomed with smiles and friendly conversation on arrival and the lovely folks here were very patient while we took ages trying to decide what to choose from the delicious menu! They even let us sample the different dishes to help us make our minds up! The restaurant is a bit hidden but that adds to the magical vibe. I had the callaloo, red beans and rice, and fried plantains. The meal comes with a lovely side salad with spinach, cabbage, red onions, red bell pepper, cucumber, and tomato. This was the best meal I had in London hands down! The staff are warm and friendly and the space is decorated with an amazing book collection including works by Bell Hooks. I’ll definitely be back!

Delicious Jamaican vegan food in East London! Stumbled upon here as i was looking to stick with veggie today. What a find!I have tried Jamaican food back in NYC but I can't say I like them as it was very greasy and sugary (especially all the fried sweets).
