Nice place next to our hotel, reasonably priced for London with 2-4-1 cocktail deals, which made it better! *****Great friendly staff, and the bar tender was a top bloke. After a few drinks, we decided to book a table to eat at for later that same evening.. *****Food was good but not much in the way of vegetarian choice for the missus, and they were out of halloumi, we ordered 3 share plates for us all to pick at (mainly the missus), two burgers for the kids, one fillet steak for me, one cookie dough, one chocolate brownie, one trio of deserts. ****(All ordered off the main menu)(A 4* because of choice issues)The next day at breakfast their were a good old British que, although it did move quite fast with the staff flat out turning tables around!Good choice, and all went well, just as you would expect from a Premier Inn!*****

OK is a good description for this place that's why it gets 3 stars.The food was OK, a little overcooked and bland.We ate here out of convenience as we were staying at the Premier Inn next door with kids.I would pick one of the many other 1000's of London restaurants.

The fillet was amazing and tender, though a bit unevenly cooked. Rare in the center and well done on the edges, as well as one side well done and the other barely cooked. Definitely get the loaded fries and beef tips! They were phenomenal!Service was a bit scattered with multiple servers approaching the table at varying times throughout the meal. I suppose that's better than being ignored!It's a wonderfully open atmosphere with plenty of light and minimal, but unique, decorations.Suitable for all ages.Overall: I would definitely eat here again!

I've had the Christmas Festive Turkey dinner here twice now in December, and both times, the service and the food have been brilliant.The Turkey was perfect, as were the side bits.My dessert was the Mini trio of desserts, again this was perfect.I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying a Steak.

Waiting 20 minutes for a menu and an additional half-hour to place an order, despite the place being relatively quiet, was disappointing. Improved service would enhance the overall dining experience.

Food was amazing! Particularly great service from Maria, she is my favourite person in this place. Always on time and quick with drink turnover, if I could give 6 stars I would. Drinks were the (good) strong and service was regular. I love this place and will be returning again soon.

The food was excellent. On this occasion I got the upgraded steak (sirloin) and frites which was amazing. I was served by the amazing Maria who was patient and accommodating considering I was calling on her frequently. I have no complaints and will come here again in the future.

I have been to a lot of bottomless brunches in my life but bar+block takes the cake. I am more than satisfied with the service. In particular, Maria was very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best that bar +block could offer,. Personally I could not see another franchise topping this, but for now, bar + block is a personal favourite.
Had a really good experience at Bar & Block . Kieran was the barman who served me and was very attentive to my drinks orders.My food was brought to me by Maria who was very friendly and served me with a smile.. And lastly, Tony the manger also came over to make sure everything was ok and that I had no queries. Overall a great experience here and will definitely be visiting again.

Waited an hour for 2 kids meals to come out, adults came out 30 minutes later (cold). Forgot to bring several of the drinks orders. Asked for a kids menu when we got there, had to ask 3 times as they forgot. You can kind of understand this when a restaurant is busy but there were only 6 or 7 tables being served food.
