10/10 I used to live in Asia and have been to Japan many times and this place nails it when it comes to service, food, and hospitality. Getting to watch the chefs was like watching an octopus cooking - so many things going on at once and everything was so delicious. The wagyu sukiyaki was the highlight for me. Will definitely be back for the 12 course meal! ごちそうさまでした !

One of the best restaurant experiences we had to date. Feast for eyes and mouth.

We celebrated our anniversary here. It was soo good. The food is amazing, so much attention to detail, such a wide spectrum of flavours. The service is incredible, gentle, swift, always there at the right time. Thanks for the amazing evening, would very highly recommend.

Enjoyable culinary experience. Really interesting and fun ways to plate and serve food. 8 course dinner with sake pairing. Our favourites were Otto and wagyu.Service was lovely and swift. As soon as we finished a course, the next course came out in a timely pace.Unfortunately, I had to give 1 less star due to the atmosphere and communal toilet in the hallway. Spotlights are far too strong, and hitting our eyes/faces, try and adjust the lighting to aim at the plates at the centre of the table rather than the customers. The restaurant area itself was decorated nicely. The serving plates and glasses were unique, some antiques, and some contemporary.

I had the thirteen courses with sake pairing and it was an amazing experience. The service, the knowledge of both the food and the sake, the food itself and the way it was served and presented were all five stars. Can’t understand why the restaurant wasn’t busier.

The restaurant owner is very unkind. She shouts at her workers, maybe in Japanese, especially when there are many customers around. I don't fully understand Japanese, but I can sense she's being threatening to her staff. She could get into legal trouble for this harassment. If people knew about her actions, they might not like the restaurant. We shouldn't spend our money such places that are mean to their workers. It's basic for any business to treat their staff well and fairly. If an owner doesn't do this, it could hurt their own business.

Some of the most amazing food one can imagine. Delicious, amazing flavours and textures. Great seasonal presentation. Attentive and lovely lady running front of house. Honestly some of the best food I have ever had and with the sake pairing (not necessary) it made a very good experience. However the bulding / facilities are not great, Which is a shame when you pay so much for a meal. The food is totally worth it but at the level they aspire to, one expects the whole thing to be as luxurious as the food but in this place they just can't provide this. I would recommend to anyone who wants an amazing culinary experience. BTW, I am not a dessert person but I would have their tea ice-cream any time. Thank you for an amazing meal and fantastic customer service.

This wasn't our first Michelin tasting experience but, by far, it was the best. Every detail is thought out I.e. constant discrete placement of the menu and drinks so that they were always facing us and allowed space for the dishes. Alongside descriptions of each dish, the hosts were more than happy to discuss the intricacies of the dishes. We arrived at 7.10 and left at 10.45, we took the evening at our pace and were never pressured to change that. For all there were another 5 tables of diners, it felt very exclusive and it was lovely to see the masters (chefs) at work, although I was also tempted to sneak a peak over the counter! The food itself was out of this world, the flavours were exquisite and the presentation stunning. Don't let the size of the dishes put you off, there is more flavour and substance in one dish than a story carb laden meal and you won't leave feeling hungry. I honestly don't have the words needed to accurately reflect the intensity, quality and perfection of each dish.

Thank you Hannah for today’s 8 course omakase kaiseki-inspired lunch! All the dishes was delicate and beautiful, service very friendly and attentive and atmosphere relaxed! The tomato water was so tasty.. unbelievable.., other strong points are smoked sea bream tataki, cuttlefish, scallop soba, and of course wagyu . Almost forgot to take photo of the amazing japanese tea ice cream.

10/10 restaurant - we came for the 3 course lunch and everything exceeded expectations. The staff were so attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed, the beautiful presentation of the food was more than matched by its taste. Even the little things like the small glass of tomato water that comes out before the starter was so good we wanted to drink the whole jug! PS would recommend getting the selection of Japanese desserts as an add on.

I wanted to take my partner somewhere special for her birthday. We both love Japanese food and have eaten in many Japanese restaurants across London. We had the £105 Omakase tasting menu. I expected the portions to be small, but just how small they were was a surprise. With a tasting menu you still expect the portions to be large enough that you have the sensation of eating something. I really didn't get that sensation with these dishes. They were beautifully presented, but offensively tiny. I was left feeling very unsatisfied. I was shocked when they brought the first dish, which was apparently a soup, it was a small glass with a blob of green liquid at the bottom. It was a struggle to scoop a spoonful out. Picture attached. Looks like the soup has now been removed from the menu, I'm not surprised! The other dishes followed in the same vein. The evening was an expensive disappointment. I would avoid unless you have already eaten a full meal beforehand.
