I absolutely love Okonomiyaki but there's no Okonomiyaki restaurant near my home town so I was quite keen to visit Okan South when I was in London. First impression was amazing! I have been to Asia before (albeit not Japan) and to me it def had that vibe. Very positively surprised! After we sat down, it took about 20min for someone to take our drinks order and drinks arrived promptly afterwards. Incredibly authentic and a real "if you know, you know" place. It's tiny inside so make sure you book ahead of time to sample the amazing vibes here! Our order was messed up but the staff were so kind and and fixed it without a hitch. We tried the curry which was coated in a thick, flavoursome sauce. Delicious warm sake too. If you like Japanese food, try this restaurant!

I wanted everything on the menu. Luckily we were a group of four, so could order loads and share. Little gem of a place, make sure you book as it's tiny. You won't be disappointed.
