Best place for desert in stokey! I’ve always walked passed it and never had the time to pop in and try until the last couple of weeks and the baked cheese cake is definitely one of my faves so far! I also tried the vegan dessert (orange slice pictures) out of curiosity. Definitely coming back.
I ordered shakshuka and a normal tea. The shakshuka was really nice and it comes with fresh buttered bread. I couldn't even finish the entire portion and this was my Sunday breakfast so I was quite hungry. The tea was tasty too.However, I didn't see any customer toilet facilities so I'm not sure if they have. Also some advise is to order hot drinks later on as my tea became warm and not hot. Hard to walk past the window. We failed. Saw the cakes and had to pop in to get some to take home. The taste citron was soft, fluffy and perfectly crafted. The salted chocolate fudge cake was superb and a healthy portion. Prices are very good for top class cake making. The savouring menu and stuff on show also looked wildly tempting. We will surely be back one day.
