This deli asked my 19 year old daughter to do 2 shifts (promising to pay her for the second), and then offered her a job. When she went in to start they said they didn’t need her to start for a month or so. Everytime she asked them when her start date would be they came up with a different excuse. And they refused to pay her. Only after going in twice myself and being assertive did they finally pay her. And they are still advertising for part and full time staff despite saying they are quiet and don’t need anyone. I suspect they just want to get more free labour! Very disappointing and unscrupulous behaviour exploiting young people

ove it! Genuine Italian food with a broad menu with decent prices. Superfriendly and alway smily and happy staff. Quick service though they are almost always busy. Just wish they had more tables inside or even warmer heaters for the fall. Clean and tidy. Love this place :)

The Tourist Trip
A lovely little Italian deli/cafe. The staff can speak Italian to each other which is often a good sign of authenticity. The coffee is inexpensive and the mocha was one of my favorites. They have lovely little baked goods, meats and fresh cooked lasagna with many other ready made Italian dishes. A small seating area just in front of the cafe with 3 seats at a bar inside. This is a great find and I will certainly be coming back!

I have been a regular customer of La Piccola Deli since I moved to Maida Vale, 10 years ago. Definitely the best place in the local area, where you can have an authentic Italian breakfast or meal. You can also find a variety of special Italian products (oil, cheese, meat...) that are not available in all supermarkets/shops.The staff is friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious. Very well known by the local community.

This is my go to local, it serves excellent coffee and food, the staff are AMAZING especially Rose and Nick.
I love this place a lot, they always have fresh pastries and a brilliant selection of Italian cheeses and salumi. The coffee is the best in the area.

Microwaved Chicken Escalope was soggy.Pasta was tasty but lukewarm in temperature.Service was pretty poor, the older gentleman looked at me as of to take my order and half way through giving it he just turned his back on me and face the other way. He also stared at my fiance in rather aggressive manner.They forgot to microwave my partners pasta dish so I we were sat the table with just my soggy chicken waiting for the nothing for 15 minutes.Deli counter is good, food is tasty but cold, service is pretty poor and unfriendly.
