Oliveto brings the true Sardinian experience to London, and has never failed in the past few years. From the moment one walks in to the effusive goodbyes upon leaving, one feels welcomed into the owner's home away from his original Sardinian home. The menu is authentic, the staff are well-trained, and the food is unbelievably good, with special mention to the spaghetti all bottarga, the best anywhere. The wine list is outstanding, and the nearby sister restaurants Olivo and Olivo Mare, plus the retail food and wine store, are also amazing. The food is consistently impressive, with highlights like the beef carpaccio, Milanese, crab linguine, and deep-fried courgettes, though the coffee is not recommended.
