Breakfast: it’s a buffet, at the time of my visit in spring 2023 it was £17.50 and given the up charge hotels always do this is not unreasonable. They have espresso machines that make decent lattes, plus there are to go cups so you can take one for the road when you leave. The buffet has the traditional full English breakfast options, bread/pastries, cereal, fruit, and a space for gluten and/or dairy free options. Pretty regular hotel restaurant int terms of food quality. I recommend the mushroom soup (if it’s available). The halloumi fries aren’t worth it. The Masala Schnitzel was meh, okay. Their sparkling water was insanely good, as ridiculous as it may sound. The service was amazing, our server was incredibly nice. It’s a good dinner option in the middle of nowhere. I would also make a reservation or call ahead to be safe, most hotel guests eat here.
