We eat lunch at Tas Pide every time we visit Tate Modern - yes ‘every’ time. The food is splendid and the service is excellent. Proximity to tourist traps has not made Tas Pide complacent, the menu range is excellent and the food well cooked and beautifully presented. Handy for the Globe, Tate Modern & other South Bank galleries & venues
We arrived early for MacBeth at the Globe. The Globe is right across the street from Tas Pide. I would encourage anyone coming to the Globe or the Wannamaker Theater to stop by this restaurant. We were very happy with the menu. Plenty for a vegetarian to choose from. Plenty of tables. The wait staff was pleasant and the food was great. Low to medium priced. It's considered Turkish food.

The ambience lends itself to conversations and the food is excellent Turkish cuisine. Staff are courteous and helpful. Remembering a meeting a couple of years ago, we were delighted to see it is still thriving.
