Used to be one of my favourite restaurants in China Town, but a recent visit made me decide never to eat there again. Firstly, there used to be no minimum spend of £30 per person, and secondly, the front of house leader at the bar was very rude and kept urging us:”have you made up your mind yet" and "stand aside and look at the menu" (which is a reasonable request, but his loud and commanding tone made it very uncomfortable). Very busy, plan your time. Went in as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. When I asked what my youngest could eat, she was offered simple chicken noodles. They were well flavored and enough for the youngest. My wife and eldest daughter had the chicken pho while I had the spicy beef noodle soup. We also tried the house mixed dumplings. messy to eat but very tasty. The soups were well made, filling and very flavorful. I visited here on New Year’s Day for a take away and was served by a lovely waiter called Sean/Shawn he provided us with quality customer service and attended to all of our needs, I would highly recommend visiting dumplings legend!
