Costa Coffee
Coppetts Centre, LondonWell this was a nice surprise. Waiting for some work to be done on my car at a nearby garage and decided to pop in here to wait.
You have to head right to the back of Tesco and up the stairs but it's worth the search.
A nice light and airy space with a good choice of seating (hard chairs, banquettes, sofa and high chairs). Beautifully clean and tidy, which is rare these days. I hate it when you go for a coffee, only to be faced with used coffee cups and dirty tables everywhere. The food and merch displays were well placed and considered. The staff obviously take pride in what they're doing.
A polite, if somewhat aggressive greeting by the one member of staff but it was early morning (well 9am), so I'll let her off that!!! I'd rather that than to be left waiting.
Not a fan of the double handled mugs for a large hot drink, made me feel like a toddler!!
Talking of which there are toilets too. Didn't try them, so can't vouch for their cleanliness.
Towards the end of my stay a few people arrived with their Tesco trolleys full of shopping. Not a problem while it's quiet but that could be annoying when busy.

The Torrington Public House, 811 High Rd, LondonWithout exaggeration, the best Black Americano I’ve ever had has been from this Starbucks. For the past three years, I’ve been getting my coffee here at least once a week, and every single time it’s had that same rich and refreshing taste. I’ve tried Starbucks in other branches and even in other countries, but none have matched the freshness and perfect flavor I always get here.
The team here is also amazing — friendly, welcoming, and they always know exactly what I want.

758 High Rd, LondonI almost fell for the recent negative reviews, but I'm so glad I decided to check it out for myself! The Subway in North Finchley is a fantastic spot for lunch, or even brunch. The environment is welcoming and clean, with great signage promoting their 'eat fresh' mission. And let me tell you, the food is fresh and delicious! I tried their hash browns, and they were a tasty addition to my meal, perfect for breakfast. Definitely a great place to grab a bite, and I'll be coming back regularly. Don't believe the bad reviews – this Subway is awesome!

772/774 High Rd, LondonI just discovered a brand-new McDonald’s in Casablanca, on the ring road towards Mohammedia, and I’m really impressed! After picking up my husband from the airport, we were a bit hungry and decided to stop by. What a pleasant surprise: the restaurant is spotless, the service is friendly, and the burgers are delicious. The kids’ area is simply amazing, super clean, and perfectly designed for them. Honestly, I highly recommend checking it out!
