So starting with the positives, the food was pretty good, however we felt that our meal was very rushed- no sooner had we finished our starters, when our mains appeared- I am the slow eater of the family and once the majority had finished eating the staff starting clearing our plates away- I felt compelled to put down my knife and fork and let them take mine too! very disappointing- we booked out table for 6pm and were home by 7:20pm- we expected to be there until at least 8pm!...read full review

Visited with friends during the week for a meal back in July. Service was polite and attentive. Menu was looking very similar if not the same as petts wood's one, well the vegetarian option were the same- pasta or risotto. I had the pasta and it was good. Dessert was good too- had the pear. Would return

Hubby and I had a very nice meal here. Sadly hubby's scallops for starter we're a little too crunchy but nice and soft inside. I had a perfect skate wing and Hubby had liver. Both meals were very good and reasonably large portions. Polite and friendly staff.
