If you want real ale, properly kept and served in an environment without video screens and loud music then you'll like this place. A nice place to chat with friends. No food, just snacks.
Top marks for food, but it's really the fantastic beers and cider. Our favourite local.It's got nothing fancy, it's not really family friendly (our daughter is 11, and happy to sit and chat outside, if you've got kids probably best avoid. Have a take out pint though)It's definitely worth a trip

Been to many micropubs, but this place feels like home and I feel like I'm cheating on them if I go anywhere else! Lovely crowd, always a good atmosphere, service is friendly and quick. Excellent beer choice and well picked snacks. Five stars all the way from me.
