Came here for 2nd time and this time had Sunday roast , it was not good. Peas were dry , steak bland and turkey dry, the food just lacks passion and they really need to get it right, portions was also small for a 13.79 for the mains . Everything else about this pub restaurant is great which is a shame , they need to invest or sort the kitchen out! The food had the potential of being lovely but unfortunately the curry was barely lukewarm (the rice was hot) the naan bread tasteless, the burger burnt and crunchy, the coffee very weak, Guinness was good, the apple crumble pie was cold and on a very cold plate, lumpy custard but it was hot, the eton mess seriously lacked its fruit and meringue pieces, it was a big portion of cream and ice cream. really like this pub been drinking in here for years staff are alrite service is good… dolls the barmaid/waitress stands out the most for me she is really friendly always maoes ke laugh
