We met my sister for an early bird meal on a week day night at 6 pm. We were shown to our table, and given both the early bird menu and regular one. We decided to eat off of the early bird one, priced at £15.95 for 2 courses. We ordered prawn cocktail, tempura prawns and avocado ? and tomatoes, all were nice portions. Went for my mothers birthday which was one of maybe ten happening on that Sunday evening. The staff were very friendly and brought out a candle for her when we got dessert. First time visit.Wanted an authentic Italian restaurant. Food was to die for. Had my favourite, veal in mushroom and white wine sauce, sauté potatoes and vegetables, started was an aubergine small platesimilarto lasagne. Had chocolate fudge cake with cream as very rich, gorgeous. All lovely.The ambience was cosy and staff very helpful and polite.Would highly recommend visiting.
