Lovely find. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice selection of beers and everyone enjoyed their meals. The steak pie was very good, lots of meat, rich gravy and good pastry. Both the chicken and beef burgers were also ace.Dietary restrictions: My mum has an egg intolerance and the staff were very helpful and accommodating

The Fox & Duck is a cozy pub with amazing food and a warm atmosphere. Think classic pub dishes but with a delicious, creative twist. The Sunday roast is a standout – so comforting! The staff are super friendly and make everyone feel like a regular. Plus, they’ve got a great selection of drinks for all tastes. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed meal or a chill night out with friends. Definitely a go-to place for a good time!

Nice place, nice people, dog friendly and children welcome. The ale is also well presented....prices more than reasonable....give it a try...Parking: Parking usually good....large car park but at lunch times and school closing times local schools use it for free parking and customers have no were to park.....needs policing as building work at the German school has necessitated the staff car park closing so staff are parking all day in the Fox and Duck car park.....Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem...

We had walked from Ham house and came out at the Fox and Duck pubwhich is handy for the bus stop as it poured with rain. Drinks nice. And liked them having crayons and paper for children. They enjoyed their bowls of chips too. :)

This pub has come leaps and bounds since new management have taken over. A really wonderful experience every time. The food is consistent and good as well as funny, kind and unpretentious service. We had the burger, pie and a few drinks including wine; beer and other bits (some of our group not drinking alcohol)The bill came to less than £100 for 5 adults which was surely unexpected. We spent almost 4hrs here and were taken care of so well by all the lovely ladies working. They’re a real asset and so knowledgeable of the area, wine and Glastonbury tee-pees!!This is a must visit if you’re in the area. A home from home. We’ll be back, of course!

The food is not too bad, but the service is rather dreadful. A tattooed lady hosted us in such a sombre mood as if we were doing her a favour. Perhaps that's why it was so empty—not coming back.

Its a great restaurant, with the nice service, providing the really traditional English style of food, includes steak &the pei, burgers with juicy meat, and wonderful tasty cheese salad. Not having the chance to order the pizza. Will do it next visit.

A wonderful independent pub run by a lovely husband and wife. The pub passed my burger test!! The burger was made with minced beef served with blue cheese and gherkins. The side salad had a delicious dressing and the chips were fabulous too.The landlady was friendly, engaging and very hospitable. Can't wait to try more things from the menu!

What a friendly and lively village pub. Great food served by warm and kind staff. Great selection of wine and beer. We are so lucky to have this pub as our local.

Their burger had melted cheese, a thick meat patty, a little bacon, lots of pickles, lots of tomatoes and just a single layer of lettuce on a brioche bun - a perfect proportion of ingredients.

I loved my chicken and bacon pie, and my husband was quite pleased with his choice as well. The staff was friendly, and we loved the ambience.
