We went because we are a fan of Ted Lasso, but we were surprised by the friendliness of the service and how red the food was, typical of a British pub.We will return without a doubt!

One of my favourite pubs in Richmond but the service fluctuates when it gets busy - there are a couple of servers who should be at the Cricketers next door, but the manager doesn't keep up to speed on what's going on. Perhaps Ted Lasso has made them a little less interested in the local trade?UPDATE: I've been in a few times in the past months and service and food had been ok but not great. Last night the food was terrible - we went at the request of American friends over for a short visit and the food was poor. The mushy peas with the fish and chips was inedible and the burger was embarrassing - limp bum, and virtually no filling.

While in Richmond, one has to visit this place while there is a soceer game on TV and have a beer. Nice, cozy place to have a

It was too busy tonight and I didn’t make reservations, so I can’t comment on food or service, but the atmosphere was electric in here.Ted Lasso memorabilia hanging behind the bar - it would have been nice to grab a pint.

Great pub in a beautiful location. Bottled beer selection includes a few good higher abv choices that are more unique.

Nice pub overlooking the green, enjoyed a nice pint of tropica ale and my chicken pie with mash and gravy was handsome and went down a treat.

I’ll admit that I HAD to go here (visiting from the US) because of the Ted Lasso series. I couldn’t have been happier that we went (unless, of course, we’d been magically transported into the show!). The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and very cozy just as you’d imagine an over 300-year-old English pub would be. The staff were all helpful and friendly. One of the chefs even came over and chatted for a bit. The food was really lovely. I ordered fish and chips with a pint of Guinness. My husband got the cheeseburger. Both orders came out quickly and hot. Most tables were full (even outside — We went in mid-March,’24.) It really couldn’t have been nicer for us, and we’re so glad we went. It’s a super lovely little village with cobblestone streets beside the Richmond Green Park. Go and enjoy.

It's actually the place from the TV series Ted Lasso. Inside are some tributes to the series and to AFC Richmond. To take advantage of the internal tables, it is better to book from the official website or also from the specific section here. The guys on the staff are very helpful and friendly. Excellent food!

We went here as part of a pub crawl around Richmond. Nice place and as a fan of Ted Lasso it was great to see it. Busy with tourists and Ted fans but staff cope well. The pub is in such a good location being by the green with the traditional red phone boxes outside. The toilets were not in the best of conditions but likely the fault of customers.

Came here for a pint while visiting having seen the show Ted Lasso. Cosy local pub. Thankfully they stay true and don't oversell the link to the show, nice touch having the team scarf behind the bar.

Okay food, good service and a cosy atmosphere.

Excellent burger and excellent (actually, outstanding...) chips. Very friendly service and not a bad place to watch the Football World Cup. ?⚽ ...and 6 Nations rugby matches, too! ? Recommended...You should get a reservation. It can be busy at unexpected times. (### I haven't been here in a while because the pub now has such a high visitor-value with Ted Lasso fans. Even reservations are difficult to get. ###)

I am usually scared of pub food but this place is awesome! The chicken wing special and onion rings were a hit to snack on while enjoying some ciders. I will make my way here again the next time I'm in Richmond.

This is a great pub with great food. The service was fantastic, Alexandra looked after us so well. Four of us for food. Half Chicken, Chicken pie, Ravioli and Gnochi. All very tasty just not enough on the Ravioli and Gnochi dishes. More like starters than Mains.
