Nice pub restaurant, not my choice we were a funeral party lunch, nice inside but had a long wait, as the group was booked only 11 people they should have taken into account it was a funeral group, restaurant was not busy on a Monday lunch time, late. We should have been seated at the table and could have waited there not told to wait in another room at empty tables! Food is presented well , but custard with desert was not hot. I love this restaurant. This is the second time I've been to this one and my experience was great. We went on 06.01.24 at 5.30pm. We went for a family meal to finish off the Christmas and to start 2024.We were sat in an area with space because we had a baby in a buggy so I appreciate they listened to us and gave us that. We had an amazing, kind and loving waitress called Jill I think her name was, who was extremely friendly and would always say “what can I get for you my lovelies?” Which was so nice to hear. The food was outstanding as always and so was the bottle of fizz. It was extremely busy but in a way that was good as my friend and I didn’t feel rushed through the meal and we spent at least two and a half hours there, which just made it an even more relaxing time.
