“My wife & I visited The Hopper’s Hut for the first time yesterday evening, and wished we had visited much sooner!
The staff were so welcoming (and really knew their products) and we found the other customers to be really warm & friendly too.
There was a tribute act on later that evening (George Michael) who was very good & knew how to work the crowd. There was a lot of dancing & singing & we couldn’t help but join in.
There are some really great craft beers & ciders on offer & my wife was particularly taken with the mango gin!
Whilst we sort of expected that the drinks on offer would be as nice as they were, we didn’t know exactly what to expect food-wise. However, we need not have worried, we chose pizzas and must say that they blew us away, top quality ingredients & plenty of them all on what certainly appeared to be hand-made bases (we had a rustica with pancetta & mushrooms and a Stromboli with spicy salami & chorizo).
We saw other customers having a very generous cheeseboard & there was a variety of bar snacks available.
Ten out of ten for our first visit and we will definitely be returning to enjoy the great atmosphere at The Hopper’s Hut again.”
