You can’t serve food like that in Chelsea & expect returning customers. I don’t know what happened with the food today? I was starving hungry so I could have eaten anything! The pizza was burnt around the edges, very little cheese & very salty. The starter wasn’t cooked properly. There was no atmosphere, looked liked someone had died. The service was normal but I only gave them twostars because they looked so feed up & didn’t acknowledge me enough. No tip from me today which is unusual.

Lots of staff, but only one waited for our section. The food took a long time. The food was expensive. The pizza was good in the 90s, but today i expect a proper wood fired pizza. The food was too salty.I've pizza was a bit burnt.I'll stick to proper wood fired pizza in future

Despite the inclement weather, my friend and I ventured out to Pizza Express, driven by our fondness for the establishment. While the culinary experience left no room for criticism, it is worth noting that the waitress appeared to be in a less-than-ideal mood. On a positive note, the manager, who graciously took our order, exhibited politeness and friendliness. We anticipated a more welcoming atmosphere as patrons.

Overall experience was 7/10.Easy to make a reservation.Food was nice.Tables were close together but clean and presentable.Toilets were clean and tidyOrdering food was easy but had to get up to get a waiters attention to get the children’s dessert.Speed of food delivery was fine. Everything we ordered we received with no problems. My daughter left the chocolate brownie as it was described as ‘hard’, it did look a bit dry.Good welcome on arrival but the farewell on departure was below par. The restaurant manger was nice. The last waiter was a bit rude.Alright value, drinks are a bit pricey. Meal deals are good for children as they offer variety.Kid-friendliness: Worksheet was provided with pens so the children didn’t get bored while parents are or while we waited for food.Children menu was good value and some great options.

It was to be a special 13th birthday treat for our grandson, his brothers, sister, Mum etc - 7 of us. We had pre-booked the table. The service was grim, the pizzas were undercooked, the “new” nduja balls with tomato and cheese were awful, inedible and the chicken wings were over cooked and dry! It could not have been much worse! Undoubtedly our very worst Pizza Express experience ever!!

We ate the pizza with caramelized onions and goat cheese, as well as the vegan pizza with artichokes and were very satisfied. The service was really magical, the food came quickly, the ambience was pleasant. We will remember.

Great Italian food at reasonable prices for

Wasn't too bad and was very quiet despite the time however upon entering and being seated, we had about 2 minutes before waiter no.1 arrived and asked if we were ready to order, admittedly the food arrived quite quickly. The pizzas were not very hot however the dough balls were the other end of the spectrum and were absolutely burning but I don't have a problem with that as I'd prefer hot food. After about 3 minutes of eating waitress no.1 came up again to ask how the food was and then after another 3 minutes waitress no.2 came and asked the same thing and the whole time everyone working seemed to be watching us and it felt as though we were being rushed to eat our food despite it only being about 5 o'clock. Unfortunately this was the worst experience I've had in a Pizza Express and the atmosphere seemed slightly unfriendly and uninviting.

Very clean, nicely laid out pizza express. You know what you are getting for the food. Was a bit shocked at the price of drinks - over £3 for a small bottle of coke/ Fanta!

The food was very tasty. I am gluten intolerant and I ordered the (gluten-free) ‚Ndujah dough balls (which were my personal favourite) and the Pesto Dough Balls. It’s allergen friendly and they also have a vegan menu you can ask for.My friend hat the vegan Calzone and liked it aswell. We both ordered desserts and they had a lot of options to choose from. We can recommend the Basil Lemon Sorbet, if you are looking for something refreshing. The place was clean, the service good and fast and the atmosphere in general was good.

We went there after visiting the science museum. It was fully packed but a table was found for us.Excellent service from l think was one of their manager's but the other staff where also brilliant.Great location from the outside you would not think its a pizza express. Food arrived quickly and we all had an enjoyable time .

We went for lunch with children after going to the Natural history museum. Service was great, the restaurant is spacious and comfortable for children and toddlers. We reserved a table in advance in case it gets busy.

Worst Pizza Express I’ve been too. Pasta was hot in the middle, lukewarm warm at the edges. Dough balls were only lukewarm. Peroni not cold enough. Very busy as you’d expect. Will not go back.
