My wife and I ate there this past Friday night. When we arrived the place was already packed, with all dinner seating at the tables taken. The host directed us to grab drinks at the bar and said he'd find us if a table happened to come available. Within 5 minutes of getting our pints he found us at the bar and brought us over to a table. We were not disappointed. Great roast on a Sunday with a great atmosphere of a pub. The nut roast option was super tasty (not sticky as most nut roasts are) with great roasted veg and potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. The crumble was well spiced but the custard wasn't great, almost as thin as milk and lumpy. Service was very fast and food came out quickly. Had the fish and chips. Fish was wonderful. The peas were not my cup of tea for my wife, but I enjoyed them. Service was typical for London. The ambiance was great. Would have been a great place to have drinks with friends or share a meal.
