First takeaway of the new year 4/1/24, I used to order from the Brixton branch quite a lot. So when I walked past this place & it was open, I was extremely happy I got the boneless curry goat, which was lovely, although not spicy enough for my palate & a beef patty. Food arrived promptly. Large curry goat with white rice tasted salty and not seasoned well. I have never tasted curry like that from any Caribbean restaurant. Oxtail was black with too much tarry bottled browning and again no seasoning used, although cut small and consistency soft with beans. Coleslaw didn't arrive, awaiting refund on Justeats ? I'd prefer not seeing a Jamaican flag logo because I haven't tasted food from Jamaica ever cooked like that. Keep trying though! ☺️

Took 2 hours to come.Portions are tiny.Curry chicken has no veg in it no potato or carrots just very dry plain chicken with no sauce to it.Half my order was missing. (Missing all the sides)Red velvet cake was nice but tiny portion also it was swimming in custard when I clearly stated on the order no custard.So they don’t listen to instructions so make sure you call the restaurant to confirm what your actually going to get.
