The brand is well established in the UK. We have been visiting various branches for decades, so we know the benchmark. It all started with a poor reception, the lady at the front desk didn't appear to be happy with our arrival, it was about 14.00hrs in the afternoon on a week day, so off peak, but no excuse really. I really enjoyed the visit. I took my parents and my brother out. Everyone enjoyed the food server that was helping me was very helpful and knowledgeable.If I’m honest, the only thing that I would change is the salad bar was a little lacklustre and that’s only based on the last time. This was our third visit here and have always had a good time. However, this time we were charged 20% VAT on our food, which we were not expecting. Makes a mockery of the 40% off offer on mains. Must be a new management decision as we have never paid VAT on food before here or elsewhere in other restaurants. Happy to pay an optional service charge.
