It’s been a long time since we were last at the Golden Gate at the Woodstock (if we can still call the local area the Woodstock as the pub has gone now?) When we visited last there was a buffet option with different dishes that you could help yourself to. Visited with work colleagues and it was a lovely atmosphere. I also had my son with me and the restuarant was very accomadating as he was getting to a tired stage and as the restuarant was not busy, he was free to run up and down the aisle to no disturbance of anyone else.The food was absoloutley lovely, great timing. Excellent food, prawn Purée start was perfect. Few main courses which were all excellent, tender meat and full of flavour.Really reasonably priced and very friendly staff who were very attentive.Would highly recommend if you fancy a nice local curry rather than cooking of a night out with friends at a reasonable price.Vegetarian options: Good choice
