294, 296 Norwood Rd, Norwood, LondonI've been coming to Knowles for about 10 years now and I've never had a bad experience, not even close. It's a very versatile pub, hosting everything from board games meets to art clubs, and is a great place to watch live sport. Beers and food are reasonably priced; the food is pub fare, you know what you're getting and it's great every time. There's outdoor seating at the front and back and the pub is always, without exception, incredibly clean, while also being kid and dog friendly.
I have been running an LGBTQIA+ meet-up here for a couple of years now and I have to say that we have never ever had an issue. The pub displays the queer flag behind the bar all year round and there is always a great mix of people. I know all the staff really well by now; staff turnover is low, which I always think is a sign of a good pub, and they are all so friendly and welcoming, whether you're an old regular like me or a complete newcomer. They also make banging cocktails.
I really can't recommend Knowles enough as a decent, slightly old-school but modern boozer, with a good selection of beers and wine, and several lovely gins. Keep up the good work and the great vibes, gang!

Papa Johns Pizza

Pizza Hut Delivery
24 Knights Hill, Norwood, LondonI’ve only ever ordered for delivery, however every occasion the pizza has been fantastic, although the base can sometimes be a bit oily, still the classic pizza hut taste, cant fault them to be honest, drivers are quick and reliable and i’ve never had any issues with them forgetting my order during a busy night.

Greggs
324 Norwood Rd, Norwood, LondonI went to Greggs on Mother’s Day to treat myself to a cheeky vegan steak bake and the service given by Jedai and his colleague was exemplary. I have to say now a days good service counts for everything! The only reason I gave a four star for food is that the steak bake was cold. However definitely will be going back as I loved the service. Some 5star restaurants could learn a lot from you lot ⭐️
