I visited recently, the food and beverages were OK.The service wasn't good at all.The staff didn't seem happy and their general service seemed to be muddled and done begrudgingly.

Chris did an afternoon tea for 13 people attending my sister’s funeral today. Him and his staff were kind considerate and polite. The food was amazing everyone commented on how nice it was. Highly recommended by us all. Thank you Chris

Fantastic tea room, I always go in for a sausage sandwich when I am visiting the crematorium. The gentleman that runs the tea room is so obliging and also makes a wicked bread pudding. I travel all the way from East Ayrshire in Scotland to visit and am never disappointed.

Always come here for a coffee or little lunch when visiting relatives in the cemetery. Food is always good and reasonably priced. Quiet background music which is great to just sit and reflect.

When The Optimist Tavern let us down big time, the lovely people at the crematorium tea room provided a wonderful afternoon tea for 20 people at an hour's notice. The food and beverages were tasty and plentiful, especially the home made scones! You don't need a funeral for an excuse to visit this place, go and enjoy it anytime.

After the sad occasion of my mother's funeral, we needed somewhere to go after the service at the crematorium. Booking the Tea Room was incredibly easy, and not that expensive compared to alternatives. It was only a minute or two away from the chapel, and is very bright and airy and well maintained. The staff were attentive, the pre-made food was very nice and they went the extra mile to lay out some mementoes of my Mum's life. They were very reasonable with the costs too. I expect you could just drop in for a snack from the menu if you were in the area, 7 days a week up to 3.30pm. They might be booked out, though.

Nice coffee, cakes and welcome. Worth a visit with more time and when weather is more clement, or better still, we can sit inside...
