The coffee, the brownies and the bacon sandwiches keep bringing me back to Sweet Rose. The Cakery has such a lovely and friendly vibe that my daughters want to visit every evening, and we do. The quality of the cakes is unrivalled, the coffee is the best I’ve had in the UK and the service has always exceeded my expectations. It has become a home from home and I’m supporting a local business run by local people. My belly feels good after each visit so does my mind. Win win....read full review

Booked afternoon tea for our elderly mum and her friend. They absolutely loved it. Fantastic service, delicious food and excellent atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were lovely and really took care of them. They are even intending to go again!! I would definitely recommend to everyone, thanks for providing such a brilliant time ? Melanie Steward

Lovely cooked breakfast. The Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We all wanted a different version of the cooked breakfast and they were happy to do swaps for us. Very relaxed and pleasant place to meet friends. Plus an unexpected added cupcake as a birthday treat. We would all go again and take friends along.
