In the winter it’s extra cosy with a wonderful log fire and it’s dog friendly.

“Nice ambience. Friendly, attentive staff. Sunday Roast ( Trio ) was absolutely perfect and cannot wait to be back.”

“Booked for Christmas lunch; a group of fifteen. Good communication from the staff, especially as we had a few orders to change last minute.

Fitted us all into one room no problem, crackers, party hats, whole nine yards.

The food was ‘proper’ Christmas grub, like you’d get at home. Everything you would conceivably have on a Christmas dinner was on there, even a bit of roasted sweet potato, which was a nice extra. All cooked well and all received well by everyone in the party, it was delicious.

Also found out on finishing up that the chef had had his knee replaced a week before, so can’t have been easy to do all that and do it so well.

Would definitely recommend for some good honest home cooked food, likely to book again for this year.”

“Absolutely cracking place. The Guinness is to die for. Great food too. The Kennedy's burger is delicious and the chicken burger just as good. Skin on fries with the cheese and chilli topping made our meal complete. The icing on the cake however was Callum behind the bar. Worked his socks off at lunch time and maintained that smile and positive, friendly, polite welcoming manner. Callum my friend you are a credit to Kennedy's thank you for your wonderful service. “Had a wake in the function room and the staff are extremely kind. There was one woman who had gingerish hair and glasses who was being very nice, asking how everyone was and being very sincere of the fact we had all come from a funeral.
That’s the kind of service anyone could ask for, so the review is more a review of that amazing woman.”
