Not been here for years, was expecting a sticky carpet, dingy dark interior but no... as we entered we were greeted by a lovely smiley bar lady and the interior although mostly grey was tasteful and relaxing.We were told the fire had been lit in one of the comfortable front rooms.We went and sat in the other front room to avoid disturbing the gentleman who was in the fire room.I had a non alco San Miguel and my wife had a glass of wine.Hope the pub gets more clientele later on...read full review
Really like this protected pub but it's in a traditional industrial area turned into a retail park so doesn't get the custom it deserves...dog friendly though personally I'm not a dog fan

Nice pub, screens in everyroom so great for football and sport. They have done a good job of the refurbishment. Proper pub!Staff are friendly. Live music. Quiz on Thursday's (we'll be back for that)One thing though... the dartboard has gone from the games room. It's perfect for darts as well. The carpet acting as an oche is still there. I'll give it 5 star if the dartboard comes back ?Edit, dartboard is back with ring lighting. Extra star added?.
