Not a typical 'coffee shop' atmosphere and I can't put my finger on why. Competent staff (albeit thin on the ground and often distracted) but I can never feel completely at ease there like I'd want from a good coffee shop. Can't give less than 2 stars as it is clean and serves you what you want, has seats \\u0026 tables. Kinda pricey considering the absence of atmosphere.

No matter how many times i try this costa, they never have cheese toastie, everytime same excuse waiting for delivery .
One of their staff member is racist! I was first on a queue of 6 people. The lady on the till preferred to serve the white customers and ignored me. Her name is Nina and she is from Eastern Europe. After serving the people behind me, She went away and her colleague who is English and more inclusive had to serve me. A person like her doesn't have to work for Costa and I will report her to Costa's main office.

The best Costa I’ve been to. I usually go to independent coffee shops as I’m really picky, but whenever I’m in Bolton I come here. The staff are really pleasant and the coffee is good. I would definitely recommend.
