“The beer is great. The staff are friendly. We left there to go to the place where they brew the beer in Macclesfield. I'd recommend the long hop beer, worth a trip down there.”

“Great dog friendly pub, staff very friendly. Food a little bland but maybe I ordered wrong. Had the fishcakes. Would go back and try something else”

“Wow! What a pub! The staff are amazing, the locals are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and the beer garden is HUGE. There’s so many snacks and drinks to choose from, they even have hula hoops which are my faves! They have a weekly quiz which is free entry, theres really good prize too! They always have live sports and have monthly live music. What’s not to love? Would highly recommend popping in if you’re ever passing, you’re guaranteed to have a warm welcome and a brilliant time! 10/10!”

“I first visited this pub over 40 years ago. Jorvic making his first trip here. For most of this time one family ran it but it looks like they have left and the pub is available to lease. This is a Robinson's pub. Only Unicorn bitter on offer as a real ale on my visit. It was fine. Very quiet on a Saturday afternoon. There is a rear car park and small outdoor patio. Inside is a one room bar plus a pool / games room. They tried food a good few years ago but not recently. The closure of the large AA offices across the road must have hit them hard. New tenants will have a job turning it around.
Parking: Parking at rear.”

“To be greeted with two big smiles from Julie and michelle made us feel very welcome at the Micker brook. Julie was very helpful in helping us navigate the kids menu, she was extremely pleasant in serving us our drinks. Also offering us extras to our carvery.
Michelle was extremely supportive of Julie offering her help and support at the bar. What can I say Michelle saved the day. My niece was having a meltdown over her teddies head falling of. Michelle came over and spoke to her and reasurred her and made her smile. Giving her a new teddy, Of course she was delighted and stopped crying. Thank you Michelle.
Michelle followed this up by serving my nieces food to her, who was delighted to see her again and thanked her. Michelle was extremely prompt in adding and bringing all the sauces to the table and making sure all was OK.
Carvery was spot on. Drinks great. Kids loved the fact that they could go up to the kios with there tickets for ice cream.
Staff at bar and restaurant and dealing with food. 10/10
Thanks again x”
