Best pub in Cheadle Hulme. Same brilliant beer as the best (a.k.a. least bad) bar in Bramhall. Fantastic ambiance built up by Bob, Mary, staff and all the regulars.Reasonable prices for cask beer (Cf other places in the posh suburbs). Also a selection of ludicrously over-priced keg beers – I approve, hopefully the prices might deter people from drinking the ghastly stuff ?)Good to frequently see extreme under-age drinking. Great little micro pub with good choice of beers.My only complaint...half a shandy £3.10. (Apparently a pint is £3.80....work that one out!!!!) That's a rip off and caused because you are given a quarter of a pint of beer and a £1.70. bottle of Schweppes lemonade. Just get 2 litre bottles from Aldi and add it to the beer as needed!As of 10th March 2023 half a shandy is £3.95. A total RIP OFF!

Lovely selection of beers, and a nice space both indoor and outdoor.The outdoor space is a few tables for 2 out front, with a nice European feel.And you can hear the rail announcement so won't miss your train either
