No pies the ones that were left (steak) very poor , i should of gone to greggs!!!!!

I have to say this establishment has some of the best customer service I have experienced. Big shout out to Michelle who served me and took time out to make up a number f specific orders that were unavailable on the shelves. She helped me search and when there was nothing matching 4 of my order she proceeded to make them up fresh. The store can get really busy so I went around 10:30am. They may not be able to undertake making to order later than this.

Second or third time I've tried to buy lunch here. 12.15 today there were no hot pasties (well, there was one scabby looking steak thing). Again. "All in the over and will be 10 minutes" How this place survives with no stock and a Greggs less than 50m across the road. They always have stock......

It's always a great experience for me when I visit and purchase products from this store, the staff are always welcoming, polite and friendly.All you need to do is ask and they will advise you on what available on the hot food counter and what's coming out of the oven.Very reasonable prices. You'll usually find a staff member dilligently sweeping the floor, which indicates that they make an effort in order to keep the store clean and tidy.You know, sometimes you visit a place and you'll feel like just another customer, in this store I always get the feeling that they value their customers.All the very best to all the staff members in this store.

Worked nearby for a couple of weeks and went almost every day. Much better that Greg's over the road and their mini cottage pies are very tasty.

2 hours before closing and they can't make any sandwiches.... They had 2 hotpots and 4 pies and a couple of sandwiches, to last 2 hours!

Staff who spoke to me was rude and Impolite. Asked during lunch if a sandwhich could be made as there went many options left other than cheese and ham. Was told there's no meats pre sliced so she cant make one. It's a sandwhich makers but refuse to make you a sandwhich. Never had this problem in any Martins I've been in and I've been in to ask as late as 2, 3 o'clock and they made what I asked for. This occasion was about 12 midday.
Hubby bought Christmas hot pot, sausage roll, spinach n feta roll, 2 muffins, meat pastie n 2 viennese meat pies..all scrumptious with v nice staff serving n price was good too.

The quality of the white muffin makes Martin's sandwiches so tasty. However, recently the amount of filling has become less and less. One piece of turkey, a slice of tomato, two small slices of cucumber and a very paltry scattering of lettuce for £3.30 is just not good value. It is a shame but they are just too stingy for me to continue to buy from there.
