Exceptional venue! The selection of beer is brilliant (unless you drink p*ss like Carling), and Dave is a bloody lovely bloke. Gave up dairy farming after and accident and threw himself into hops and barley, and I, for one, am glad!
Absolutely adore this place and worth driving 100 miles back to my home town for (my brother thinks it's for him ?)! Served beers are well kept, interesting and often too strong to sell you a pint of ? and the selection of canned and bottled ales is superb and worth a look (they stock my favourite Northern Monk stout and Tiny Rebel ale so I'm happy). Owners are friendly, there are board games and no beer snobs. What's not to like? Are you there yet?
