Quite nice

I had a fantastic experience at Bluebell Pub in Monton! The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout my visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Monton.

Went for a 30th birthday. Food was ok, service great, friendly bar staff. However when 9 o’clock came security man came and approached my 15 year old daughter and demanded ID, when she said she was 15 he demanded who was her mother, I was sitting next to her and said it was me, he very rudely said you have to leave now. Fair enough you have rules but this person needs a lesson in customer service and manners. The only thing that marred my eldest daughters 30th birthday party.

Why do dog owners think everyone likes dogs? Been to The Bluebell pub today. There were several people with dogs who thought nothing about their muts barking and generally causing a nuisance. They all seemed to think it was quite amusing that their precious animals were causing disruption and even the staff couldn't care less. What with kids and dogs, doesn't really add up to an adult afternoon of relaxation and a quiet pint. What happened to guide dogs only and over 18. Nowhere today seems free of children and dogs, no wonder people avoid going out. It's more focused on child friendly and dog friendly than customers who just want good food and a drink.

If i could give less then a would, being a local the experience on 3 times has been poor!I sent a polite email to the manager to explain my 2 visit on the 29/10/2023 to get no response.'I hope this email finds you well. We visited the pub once or twice a month for food as a treat and was super impressed with the food and your staff, however my last 2 visits I was sadly disappointed. We visited on Wednesday 18th Oct for lunch, myself, my toddler, my mum, my brother and pregnant girlfriend. This was a family meal before she went into hospital on the 19th Oct. Sadly after biting into onion ring what looked to be like black hair through the batter, I reported this to your staff who informed the kitchen. She was very apologetic and gave my brothers gf the paperwork with her name and details to complete regarding the food. She returned and informed us the kitchen have said its the netting and it unharmful ( sadly my brother gf was worried due to have her baby the following day and still not knowing what could of potentially been in the food she had just eaten. The only apology offered was to remove the onion rings from the bill.We visited today and was seated at the bottom end near the kitchen, the language from the kitchen was awful. To be sat with my toddler and 2 daughters and mum. I'd just finished work and wanted to enjoy my meal instead of bad language in the background and other conversations disturbing us. The food may I add was delicious! Once the plates was cleared the same member of staff asked me 4times if I wanted my bill! We was sat letting our food settle down and having conversation i didnt need to be mithered if I wanted my bill. In the end I got my bill and left because I didn't want to be continuously asked.'I received no response. On sunday21st I called for a final chance i explained to the person on the phone my last 2 experiences and no responce from my email. They reassured me i would sit away from the kitchen and email would be printed, again iv had to chace this up. To receive a response from a manager ... 'Thank you for your feedback. In regards to your visit on Wednesday 18th October in which your brothers girlfriend found netting in her onion rings, the member of staff who dealt with your table apologised at the time removed the onion rings from the bill and offered free drinks, coffees or desserts which were all declined. As you can appreciate there was not much more she could do and mistakes do sometimes happen. If your brothers girlfriend was worried as she was due to give birth did she attend A&E or go to see any other medical practitioner? Also the member of staff who dealt with your table advised your brothers girlfriend didn’t really say anything so assuming if this was a problem she would have said something to the member of staff that was dealing with your table.Your visit on 29th October 2023, you are right you shouldn’t have heard the chef say a swear word but we can’t help other people having conversations in the pub which were disturbing you, if that was the case you could have asked to be moved to another table or somewhere a little more quieter in the pub. Once your plates were cleared the staff will ask you if you want anything further or ask you if you would like your bill, if you would have said to them that you were letting your food settle and you would let them know if you want the bill then they wouldn’t have kept asking you if you wanted anything further.Kind Regards,The Bluebell Management Team'Clearly they don't have any customer training or value. would not Recommend visiting

First time I've been in in several years. The staff couldn't do enough for you and made sure we were well looked after. The food was quick and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.
