First visit to the Blue Bell. JW Lees pubs are good and this was no exception. We ate of the pub lunch menu. Nice feel, warm welcome, value for money and pleasant service. We will be back
Visited for first time on a mid week tea time. Served by lovely waitress, excellent food, we had a lasagne really looked and tasted hand cooked and the legendary cheese and onion pie was gorgeous. No complaints at all except no parking available but will still return

After travelling from Southport at 430 arriving at 6 didn't expect to be told food is only served after 630 and later find they took my order at 7. Butter chicken was fine but my son didn't like the lasagne. Said it was gooey on top. Should have asked for it be cooked for longer.But the place is busy on a Saturday after warm weather.Will let them offI go by the place twice a day. It gets busy and is popular.
