Not been to the Wilton for a while but food was great and the service excellent. We all had a lovely time. The seafood pasta dishes were especially good. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely appalled at the quality of the food. Pizza had a puddle of water in the middle, returned the pizza to receive the same one that had just been dried out (paid £13 and only ate 1 slice) Pasta came with no salami ( which it was supposed to come with) so had to request salami which came in a separate bowl. Ordered chipolate sausages for starters but they came with bangers and mash instead and got the order wrong. £6 for 2 small sausages and salad. Was like a ghost town in the restaurant, more staff than customers just waiting for something to do. This place could be a gold mine if the food was better. What a waste

It's not a country pub without real ale !!! !Food service good, but food poorNeeds better cooked pub classics not Italian as a proper Italian is 1mile down the road.

Love this little place ..got a lot of potential..it has the right people but the food is lacking quality at present but it's adequate especially as they are hounded by our four legged friends.Still our local on Sunday for lunch .

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!Staff we're polite but didn't have a clue to what was going on . I asked what is the fish of the day and they said they didn't know and carried on . I asked can you find out and they went away . Staff returned and said we think its cod but not sure . I asked another member of staff could they find out . She returned and said they couldn't find out coz the chefs were busy . Even tho there was 3 tables in.I said forget it and ordered the burger . The burger arrived and appeared and tasted like it had been boiled . Somethered in cheese also to hide the poor tastless quality. I told a member of staff and they took it away and said sorry about that but but nothing to correct this.My wife and child had Sunday roasts and again the ingredients used looked like they were from frozen. No gravy boat option offered just smothered in to much watery gravy to hide poor quality food .my child's meal came with creamy mash that didn't need gravy and it arrived smothered in gravy making it a plate of slop that she couldn't eat. This is the perfect example of a restaurant that would appear on kitchen nightmares . New management should be ashamed of themselves. This meal cost us £60 for poor boiled from frozen food . As my wife paid she had to go to the counter for the bill as she waited long enough. She felt uncomfortable as the staff were giving her dirty looks and talking in her direction. When she said is everything OK they said oh no it doesn't matter .Burn this place to the ground to save people the disappointment. Will be closed before the years out .

We've been many a time over the years and had a great experience especially talking to Ian. This was the first visit since it has been under new management and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. The menus were old and tatty, the staff inexperienced and requiring a lot of training. Did not know the wines on sale and generally lacking in knowledge. Cesar salad was OK, but the steak burger was raw in the middle. We advised the waitress when the table was cleared (no one checked on us whilst we were eating). Upon paying I advised the manager and stated I did not feel that I should pay full price when the burger was inedible. After him trying to justify it being under cooked he begrudgingly discounted the bill by 10%. We will not be returning.
Wonderful place. Wonderful food. Highly attentive staff especially Jack. So good. Will be back again. Recommend the seafood risotto, very fresh and flavoursome. Thank you so much

Went for a Sunday lunch. Had soup for starter which was ok. Ordered chicken and beef roasts. Meat on both was dry, especially the chicken. Seemed like frozen veg and Yorkshire pudding. Completely tasteless. Gravy had a jelly like texture. Staff were all very friendly though marked down because they didn’t really care that the food was terrible. Wouldn’t visit again nor recommend.
