The food was really lovely, but I found the atmosphere and the seating a little odd. We went for lunch and it was really beautiful food, worth every penny, but despite the restaurant being really quite quiet we were seated right next to a family who seemed just as uncomfortable with our presence as we were with theirs. Recently moved to the Area and many friends said to try The Thomas Egerton for foodWe was certainly not disappointedMyself and my Partner had the Steak burger with home cut chips. And it was incredible. The perfect portion and delicious. We finished our meal with the cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding which I highly recommendThere's a huge selection of drinks at the the bar and the staff were very friendly and polite and helpfulWe will be definitely popping in again soon

Good food and faultless service. The only thing that let it down was the diners were mixed in with those who'd just come for a drink. It was loud and crowded around our table. I would only return if there was a separate dining area.
