Under new management and well worth a visit!! Food and service was excellent. They have a market menu so we had 2 courses for £20.95. The main course we chose steak and ale pie - and wow, it was homemade and full of steak ? back to how it was years ago. Well done to the new management and staff. Hope you make a success of
We hadn’t tried Wilton arms for a long time and while we really fancied a roast dinner we thought why not… the meat was lovely but there wasn’t much more to the plate.. three soggy roast potato’s and a small handful of veg drowned in gravy a small betty Crocker Yorkshire pud… no mash… no stuffing. No option to add these on the menu looking back nor pigs in blankets…Desert was lovely and the wine and Beer was very nice.. staff were nice and polite! We would return...read full review

Visited as a party of 8 on a Monday lunch time. We have been a number of times but when we arrived it said under new management. There were only two other tables in there eating. We had two garlic breads to share for starters - a cheese one and a tomato and chilli one - which took 50 mins to arrive. Very nice tho. Then the mains took so long we were at the table for three hours. Food was average at best and service was shocking although the young man was very polite
