We thought it was a set menu as none of the dishes had prices only to be told by the young lady that it was all you can eat style. Bonus! But unlike buffet style ones, this was cooked to order so each selection was brought out to us piping hot. Every selection we had was delicious. I'm a huge fan of won ton soup so seeing this as a selection was brilliant. My partner said the satay skewers were amazing. We had interactions with 3 staff members, 1 male and 2 female and all were really friendly. Will definitely be back when visiting again.

48-50 Market St, Hindley, WiganIt was our first visit to Summat to Ate for quite a few years, it was a special occasion to celebrate our Granddaughter’s 21st Birthday.\nThe restaurant was almost full and very busy on a Saturday night.\nWe had a large party of 28 people so the management asked for all guests to pre-order their meals which would help them plan the fresh food, they also asked for a £10 per person deposit.\nBecause everyone was paying their bills separately they have a great system in place for large parties, on arrival giving every diner a ticket with your name and order on it. So at the end of the evening you go to the till with your ticket and pay your own bill with the deposit knocked off.\nEveryone purchased their drinks direct from the bar so that wasn’t a problem.\nWith the air conditioning on it was very comfortable dining.\nThose that ordered starters were served first before the mains.\nConsidering there was 28 mains all being served at the same time all the staff did an amazing job getting all meals out within 10 minutes. Every meal was spot on with no mistakes. I didn’t hear one complaint about the quality of food. A few guests had ordered dessert to finish off their meals.\nSummat to Ate generously allowed the organiser to take their own Birthday cake and supplied plates and cutlery.\nIf you like the Hot Rock steak experience Summat to Ate is the place to go.\nThe staff did a great job looking after us.

Ellesmere Inn Wigan
32 Lancaster Rd, Hindley, WiganI was walking passed and smelt the beer, had to go for one. I'm not local and made me feel welcome. I didn't eat food but landlord and barstaff were friendly... Nothing else to say on this occasion

Chicago Pizza
7 Bridge St, Hindley, WiganI ordered today, and normally I'm not a big fan of takeaway, but from the customer service to the quality of my chicken sandwich with chilli sauce meal that came with red salted chips and a can of Pepsi, put a smile on my face. It was worth the money, and I will be coming back soon.

Always a good atmosphere every time I have been in.Apparently it's had a bad reputation in the past but in the last 3 months I've been here I really can't understand why. 152 Market St, Hindley, WiganThe food is restaurant quality superb...absolutely delicious, can't fault it!! However I've noticed the prices have increased somewhat...although i know there are a lot of inflationary pressures. My biggest gripe though is the delivery time, which frequently exceeds 2 hours..and I know they're busy but Im not sure if that's acceptable.

136 Market St, Hindley, WiganWe all had a great time here on 26th celebrating my husbands birthday. As soon as we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. My son doesn't like coriander and they didnt hesitate cooking him his starter again without it. We will definitely be going back, would highly recommend.

Cross St, Hindley, WiganWent for breakfast last thursday, Jackie served me and was nice and friendly, Julie brought my order over she was really nice too. Both really cheered me up, both took the time to talk to me. You dont often get this service now, were people are just kind. thanks for the chat. food and drink great, relaxed atmosphere, staff make you feel welcome. wasnt waiting long either!

It’s one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted if not the best And I’m writing this with the taste of the pizza, still in my mouth haha i give credit where credit is due i’m very polite and friendly great service. see you tomorrow night

De Niro's Pizza
132 Market St, Hindley, WiganI normally order from here, but picked up two out of my three last orders, as they are only 3 minutes away from my house, so no need to wait for delivery.
The food is always really good an lately I fell I love with their garlic mushrooms.
My son loves the lasagne. And my toddler loves the garlic bread that I get for free.
Very consistent with their service and food, I always know what to expect and they follow especial instructions very well.
Will continue ordering from here and recommend it

Great friendly attentive and speedy service from start to finish from all staff, Relaxed atmosphere,Fantastic food, cooked perfectly.\nGood varied choice on the menu.\nMy wife had Spigola (sea bass with vegetables) while I had steak with fuego sace (delicious) and cooked perfectly.\nDesserts, although not a huge selection were delicious. \nMy wife had Italian sorbet, while I had the biscoff cheesecake which was on special.\nCost was quite reasonable.\nWe have eaten here before, and will no doubt return.\nIt was quite busy for a week night (Thursday)\nA nice touch is you can see your food being prepared in a spotless kitchen.\nThank you all.
