Luciano's at Middlebrook

This was our first early evening visit for a family birthday celebration at Lucianos, when it’s a bit quieter than during the day. \n\nIt’s the same menu, with something to please everyone at pretty reasonable prices. My brother and sister-in-law love Italian food and were impressed with their prawn pasta dishes, while husband enjoyed his unadventurous lasagna. \n\nI have had the mushroom risotto before and it’s a delicious but very filling meal. The only minor disappointment was the side of chips, which were inferior French fries (I seem to remember having big fat chips here before). \n\nTap water comes with ice and lemon and the waiter knew his wines to help inform our choices. Indeed, the staff were all friendly and attentive, without being intrusive, with a lovely gesture of singing happy birthday and bringing a sweet treat with a candle on for my sister-in-law. ?\n\nThis is a great restaurant with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The only improvement would be an extra loo.

Curley's Dining Rooms

Really nice place, location is great overlooking the lake.
Food was really good as was the service! Also! It i was really surprised by the price. Very reasonable.

The Brewery Bar

Love this bar.Outstanding selection of craft beers and cider. Real traditional drinking tavern.The bar is upstairs, but it does have outside seating at ground level.4* only because it has room for live music yet doesn't do a lot of it.Have to mention the 'Sreet Food' vendor outside the entrance, with pub tables to enjoy it.My favourite bar in Horwich!

Harvester Horwich Park Bolton

Came here on a weekday and was quite busy . Sat down and order of drinks and food was taken promptly . Salad bar nice however I always find this could be stocked up a lot more due to demand of the salad bar . Food was served hot and we enjoyed our foods which included the tacos and also the skewer and gammon steak .

Sokrates Greek Taverna (Horwich)

We were visiting family in Bolton and were looking for a local restaurant as we were staying at The Premier Inn at Bolton Stadium.\nThere is parking at the back of the restaurant which is in a side street. \nThe lady who greeted us was charming and helpful as was the chef / owner.\nThe starters are plentiful as is the menu.\nThe food was delicious the service was prompt and we were made to feel welcome.\nPlease go you won’t be disappointed. \nMy husband is super fussy but said the lamb chops were the best he had ever tasted. \nWill certainly visit the next time in Bolton.

Jolly Crofters

The Jolly Crofters has become a family favourite over the last couple of years.
Run by great people, great atmosphere, great food and dog friendly.
Fantastic location, close to some great walks.
We will continue to visit and would like to thank everyone at the Jolly Crofters for running such a great pub.

CAFE BRAMBLES

Bit noisy from the regulars who sit in there and the girl in the kitchen had her hair down I er the food :( it didn't effect the quality, but it is off putting.

Brewed Coffee Company

MUST VISIT. We chose this place from the Google reviews and were very impressed. Moumita is a brilliant host, very welcoming and beautiful. We had the full breakfast one small one big. Perfectly sized, the ingredients are all locally sourced, traditional butchers sausage and bacon, bury black pudding ? and fully free range farm eggs, bakery toast. Moumita Cooked it all perfectly and in good time. Lovely tea coffee. It’s the best English breakfast I have ever had… and I have a lot. Will definitely be calling again. Don’t miss out! It’s that good ?

Thyme Deli

We use Thyme Deli for corporate lunches at work. Their sandwiches are nothing short of amazing! Fresh and packed with quality ingredients. Highly recommend if you are looking for catering as they are reliable and they really do put a lot of thought into what they offer! Also, the chocolate brownies. To die for. Rich, gooey, and indulgent. Seriously, don’t leave without trying one.

Donner 24

Food was excellent. Even got a free garlic bread with our order.
A massive thank you to the men working there who made sure I got to my car safely after noticing I felt uncomfortable by some men that had passed by. Really appreciated. :)

KING LEE Chinese Takeaway

Absolutely fantastic service and the food was delicious! Great fan of the egg fried rice and sweet and sour sauce. Chips are very tasty and you get quite a lot for the price. Food is hot. I will definitely eat here again.

Bengal Cottage

Lovely food. Very impressed. Service ?. I have chicken madras. Mrs had a burger. Very happy with the price. Please remember to ring them to order. They lose 22% on just eat. It's not right. The food was well worth the money. Please everyone phone any company for food. There profit margin our low thanks to our so called leaders. Thank you guys for a lovely Saturday night meal.

Beeley's Bar

This was our first visit but we were met with such great service. So helpful and friendly. Made us feel so welcome. We'd only called for a drink but football was on and it was a game we wanted to watch. There was music on and we sat down watching TV without sound. But the lovely young gentleman behind the bar came over and asked us would we like the sound on. So he turned the music off in that part of the bar and we watched the game. Absolutely great bar for sports. Would definitely recommend.

I had a superlative experience in the middlebrook shop due to an amazing young man named Reece Stringer. He was very pleasant; outgoing and respectful. Never in my 5 years of frequenting different Subway franchises have i been so impressed by the quality of service! Another thing which stood out to me was how effectively he was coordinating himself and his colleague which further streamlined the experience.

Corner Cafe

Visited on 12/03/20. I had the Breakfast Barm, I recommend it, my partner had a breakfast. Service was quick but we were not rushed. Good quality with a good price, "Danny" served us, very pleasant. We will visit again.

Spice Valley Horwich Authentic Indian Restaurant

First time visiting this restaurant, it was ok. The decor was very nice and the service generally good. The food was good, however the portions weren’t overly large and not the hottest. The biggest disappointment was the pickle tray, very very meagre portion for 4 people, just three very small shallow ramekins, partially filled. Other Indian restaurants we have visited don’t normally charge for this, just the popadoms. Would visit again but wouldn’t be in a hurry.

Blundell Arms

We were served by Courtney who was as her name suggests very courteous. She served our delicious food to us with a smile. It was a pleasant experience - well done the Blundell ?

Hollywood Bowl Bolton

We have visited here 2 times now for different birthday celebrations. We typically have played 2 rounds of bowling then spent half an hour to an hur in the arcade playing the different games. Most of the games give tickets as rewards and the prizes for the tickets are rather limited due to the small size of the arcade, however saying that our last visit we had just over 850 tickets and managed to get 5 light up inflatable swords and 3 pairs of flashing glasses to use when we go to a concert in the near future.
We have also used the pool tables for many games of pool. Pool table accepted card and cash at £1.50 per game. Food here is nice but again limited. We have taken advantage of the 3 for £13.99 deal both times we have visited and it has been enough to snack on between 7 adults. Drinks are reasonably priced. We usually get the jugs of pop and share those out between us.

Domino's Pizza - Horwich

Wrong base pizza delivered. Contacted the restaurant and made them aware, they listened, apologised and informed me that if I was able to nip to the restaurant (which is thankfully only 5 mins drive) then they would make the pizza again for me. Free wedges added for the inconvenience which was a nice touch.
All in all, very pleasant staff and as always the food is spot on.

Square Slice

I love this takeaway maybe more than McDonald's! They have almost everything in this place, including pasta which I don't think any other takeaway has. The people working there are so friendly and joke around sometimes. Their food is delicious and I definitely recommend this place especially if your craving multiple fast food options!

Night Bar Takeaway Horwich

Nightbars food is quality for the price, you can't really complain to be honest, iv always been satisfied! And iv never had an issue with orders or with the delivery drivers.. solid takeaway.

Milano Take Away

Just had the best ever pizza-I like mine really done-wowed I know lol! It was absolutely spot on and the only place to actually get my order correct! Thanks Dave! Highly recommend *****

Marks & Spencer

It is a small store with a supermarket (small too)\\nYou can find non alcoholic beer, lovely steaks, and I love the pâté, chicken liver pâté. I wish it was larger store. The employees there are great people and very helpful. I love the place.
