“First time at the Whitehouse for at least 25 years and the place hasn’t changed one bit … in a good way.Arrived at 545 on a Saturday afternoon you can’t book unless larger table over 5 but went early it was rammed already which is a good sign .Food gammon eggs very tasty lady had steak strips in a spicy sauce all enjoyed very much two pints of cider and two large red wines £52 all comparable to the other. Saddleworth must go to the Church Inn … is it as good no but food still very good and serving staff great .Enjoyable will go again7/11/2023 revisitWelcomed by staff on a miserable wet cold Tuesday afternoon . “Gorgeous food mash potato was spot on as was the rest of the food. Reasonaby priced. In a good location bet its busy on a sunny day.Seated then had to wait a while to be offered drinks and then again to take our order. Wasn't busy at the time.Hasn't put me off we will be back”

“Came here for my birthday lunch, lovely view of Hollingworth lake.Came in and asked for a table of 3 with my small dog, immediately pushed to the other side of the restaurant which is dog friendly, that’s fine if the waitress wasn’t so rude about it, she seemed disappointed.Otherwise food was ok and came at a reasonable time.”
