The Waterside Restaurant Garden & Cabin

The experience was fantastic, such a lovely midweek meal. \nAmbience was stunning and the food was delicious, cooked to perfection. \nOur waitress was so lovely and polite nothing was an issue. \n\nWe enjoyed the midweek steak special, upgraded the wine for just £4 to a lovely bottle of Rioja 2019 along with upgraded to fillet steaks. \n\nThe fillet was cooked to absolute perfection, I would highly recommend a visit here. \n\nEverything was tasty and will definitely be returning.

Bulls Head

Small, cosy typical old-fashioned English pub in a country setting, with a good selection of beers, and a menu of local favourite dishes. Staff are welcoming and helpful, and it's our go to eatery after a walk around the Piethorne reservoirs.

Bake 'N' Butty

Best in Littleborough without a doubt, the staff are amazing, work so hard & Sarah's home made pies ? & cakes are delicious ?
I highly reccomended the lemon ? Meringue pie!

The Red Lion

Proper old fashioned pub. A wide entrance with 4 rooms. A pool room, a dart room, pleasant snug & a large lounge. Well kept local ale, good lighting & decor & good service.

The Rake Tapas

What a restaurant this is, and gutted I’ve not been sooner as I’ve lived locally for the last six years but only just been tonight.

From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is chilled and relaxed and feels homely. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you and constantly checking on you to see if you’re ok.

The food is quality and cooked to perfection, we ordered 9 dishes between two adults and one child and nothing went to waste.

I’ll definitely be back - chef, you smashed it!

Fat Panda Chinese, fish & chips

Best local Chinese takeaway! Me and my partner have been loyal customers for years. The two lads front of house have amazing people skills and we are always chatting while we wait for our food. Food is always delicious and portion sizes are more than enough- our usual order does us for dinner the next day too ? 100% recommend

The staff were very nice the food was to die for and I will definitely be going back with the mother in law to try the food thank you so much for lovely evening

The White House

Called in for dinner with Friends. Polite and helpful Staff. Short wait for a table but nothing major. Food was excellent and decent portions and price. Good selection of beers and wine. Well worth a visit.

Hare on the Hill

I got the BBQ bacon cheeseburger with chips from here. Possibly the best burger I’ve ever had! It was fantastic!

The chips were perfect too.

Bobbys at The Square

I had the medium breakfast at Bobby’s Café and it was perfect – hot, tasty, and really filling. My tea and toast were perfect and im fussy.
My son had the kids’ burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh, and the service was friendly. A great little place for a proper meal – be back soon. ?

Littleborough Balti Taste

Excellent takeaway highly recommended, Rung up asked for a recommendation the chap on the phone said try Lamb Saagwala Asian style, absolutely delicious full of flavour, well balanced with just the amount of spices.
Mrs ordered the Shashlik kebab wow, grilled onions and peppers mixed with variety of meats was perfectly cooked full of flavours.

Great service as usual friendly and efficient!

Chippy Licious

My go to place in and around Rochdale for a Gluten Free chippy. Staff are fantastic and so attentive and the food is amazing! I would highly recommend if you’re gluten intolerant.

Thamin

I recently hosted my son’s 1st birthday party in the private room at Thamin Restaurant, and it was such a wonderful experience. There were around 30 of us, including lots of little ones, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and supportive from the beginning.
They provided highchairs, made sure there were food options for the kids, and were happy to help with anything I needed on the day. The buffet had a great variety and all guests were happy with the food.
The service really stood out — the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, which took a lot of pressure off me and allowed me to actually enjoy the day. Everyone had a lovely time, and I’m so grateful for how well we were looked after.
Highly recommend Thamin restaurant if you’re planning a celebration — they helped make my little boy’s first birthday really special.

Falcon Inn

A bit of an old fashioned boozer, which I quite like. Not a lot of choice on tap though. Everyone there was on lager, including me - which I’m not a huge fan of. But not much to complain about.

The Queens

A locals pub, right in the centre of Littleborough. Many friendly faces stroll here for a good old fashioned evening out with friends and neighbours. There's a short range of good ales, many shorts and lagers to go at. A pool table sits at the back to cover those with sporty credentials. The floor is flagged, uneven, and fabulous.

The Moorcock Inn

I haven't stayed here, but came for a meal recently with friends and we thought it was excellent. The staff were nice, service was quick and it was a good looking place. The food was excellent, fairly priced and a fab menu with plenty of choice. Quick service and generous portions too!
The only negative was that my friend booked it following their website saying they were dog friendly. However, the restaurant isn't. They were still able to accommodate us, and I am supportive of the restaurant not taking dogs, this just needs to be made clearer when booking. I'll be back soon.

Butterbean Sandwich Bar

What a great sandwich shop.
As a contractor and working all over the uk it’s great to fall on a sandwich shop that do great breakfast sandwiches and at a great price. The BEST was amazing (Bacon,Egg,Sausage and Tomato)and the girls serving and cooking had great banter ??? will definitely call again.

Georgieo's Chinese Takeaway

It’s not a restaurant- so takeaway atmos only. Staff friendly and promptly filled telephone order. Food was good and more than generous in quantity for the price.
Will be back.

I’ve been here twice with my mum and on both occasions the service was great and the food was amazing. Both the haddock and cod fish and chips were cooked perfectly and were very flavourful. The price is a bit on the high side but it’s absolutely worth it!

Love the food here, eaten in or taken out. If you don't know what you fancy, you can just ask them to cook you something up, and it's always delicious.
Jamal and staff are always super friendly. ? highly reccomend

New Diamond

Take away service only, you can order on phone and collect so your not waiting long. Its cash only.
Food is always tasty and well presented in re usable tubs which we use again and again. Always hot even by the time we get home to eat.

The Wine Press

We booked for a special birthday party and had over 40 guests, adults and kids. They provided a set menu for us, all organised prior to the special day. The service was great, food very tasty, hot and nothing was too much trouble. Can't fault the staff at all, friendly and welcoming. Very efficient. Wholly recommend.

Dragon City

This place has changed over the last 12 Months very much better food and service. Although lately had to wait nearly 2hrs which is ridiculous for food when kids included too not the best but we all enjoyed it when it came.

Unplanned kebab purchase. I've never found a decent place in Littleborough, until now. This was stunning. Guy was meticulous at checking if it was properly cooked and it was. Tiny old fashioned place, knocking out excellent food

Tandoori Flames Indian Takeaway

My go-to Indian takeaway. Always order the Garlic Naan, it’s perfect!! The food is always hot and the chicken is always soft and melty. Has easily become my weekly takeaway place.

Beach - Pub & Carvery

I am writing this review as over the years I have felts welcomed and felt the staff do go above and beyond for customers, It’s is not always possible to give the best customer service on a Sunday as it is the busiest with Sunday dinner, We went in for a mix menu order with a group of 10ppl with youngest being age 3years old to the eldest being 72years old. You made as feel so welcome. From take orders to serving. Yes beef was finished in carvery and that is not anyone’s faults. The taste of food was amazing. It was cooked to perfection. From carvery to fish and chips, to kids mac and cheese oh and can’t forget the jacket patato, the fish was finished but staff went above and beyond to serve and informed it would take a little longer but will be able to do that. I am so thank ful for the service as we really enjoyed our time at The beach pub and carvery today, I did had to take name of staff which they probably felt was the odd but I want to take those opportunity to thank you guys for service and food services to us today, not forgetting my 3years giving a sweetcorn as a warm gesture. Therefore AMY, LUCY AND IZZY, you guys made us all very happy with your service and mostly that is what matters when we go out to eat. Food was 10/10 xxxx see you soon xxxx
