Always loved the godfather, the bread is made Infront of you, meat always been good, kebab sauce is nice, problem is the portion size has got smaller while price has got bigger, £25 for a small chicken kebab, large Donner kebab that wasn't large and 2 portions of cheese on chips.It's nice but not for that price when so much competition around, will stick to leve bakery or A Star Shawarma from now on.
The donner meat was delicious, definitely a cut above standard. I've heard that they make it in house and I can definitely believe it. I know the bread was fresh because I watched them make it, and it too was also delicious.Chips were standard, but nice. Donner sauce was also very nice.The only thing that let it down was the salad. I have been using this kebab shop for the past seven or eight years it’s a treatto stop in when I’m passing by The lamb Donor is home-made and I can honestly say you will not get it anywhere else in Manchester and the Lamberger is absolutely scrumptious. The only thing that frustrates me is the decision to take the lamb Donor or the lamb burger as both of them are superb.
