Only outside seating area available because of lockdown, but had a brilliant fish and chip lunch in the large marquee in their beer garden today. Excellent food, friendly staff, and a heated marquee. Understand they have a new chef and a new menu which includes a cooked breakfast. Looking forward to returning soon for another meal.
Brilliant lol ,Tim (bless him) the landlord knew me from past visits and I'd always supped John Smith's but this time it was either Cafreys or Boddieis, I due to my last experience with Boddieis choose Cafreys, however Tim then said "try the Boddieis you will be surprised it's not that bad " and after a small discussion he gave me a taste.......I KID YOU NOT I was gobsmacked the taste was awsome.......WELCOME BACK, no seriously I was like iffy about it coz when Strangeways Brewery...read full review

It perfect. Right next to Cemetery Road tram. Free wi-fi. So I can track the planes on my Flight Radar. Have a couple of glasses of white wine. Decent company. What's not to love?
